We've packed this update with improvements! Version 2.2 introduces the new Devices screen, improves game controller functionality, enables background audio playback, and allows EMDR Connect participants to stop stimulations on their own. Read on for all the details! NEW: THE DEVICES SCREEN The new Devices screen is the central hub for everything related to local devices. It consists of three main sections: 1. Accessories • Toggle vibrations on or off per accessory. • Choose the position of each accessory. • Toggle session control on or off per accessory. Tip: accessory options are now also accessible from the accessory cards on the main screen. 2. Local Control • All options related to Local Control (controlling the EMDR app on nearby devices) can be found here. • You can now also enable required network permissions from here. 3. Guides • Discover guides for using Nintendo Joy-Cons, Apple Watch, and traditional game controllers (PlayStation, Xbox, and more) with the EMDR app. • Each guide includes detailed pairing instructions and usage tips. IMPROVEMENTS FOR GAME CONTROLLERS • Joy-Con vibration now alternates automatically. • Control stimulation speed using your game controller. • Change the vibration intensity in the Adjustments screen. NEW IN THE ADJUSTMENTS SCREEN • Audio Mode: choose whether to keep playing your music and other audio playing in the background. • Vibration intensity: change vibration intensity for iPhone, Apple Watch, Joy-Cons, and other game controllers. NEW FOR EMDR CONNECT • Room participants can now stop stimulations on their own. • Participants connected via a web browser can now also use Joy-Cons for vibrations (see the Joy-Con guide in the Devices screen to get started).
