PolyNodes is a revolutionary platform for sound synthesis and generative audio, redefining how you interact with sound. By analyzing the temporal properties of input audio, PolyNodes maps them into a 3D space, creating a visible geometric structure. This innovative approach identifies key sound moments as geodesic points or nodes, interconnected through triangulated networks. It has been developed as a collaboration with Sinan Bokesoy and Daito Manabe. The result is a multi-scale, immersive sonic experience that transforms input material into a dynamic navigable structure. With PolyNodesAVP, the AR remote controller app, the possibilities expand further. It brings the PolyNodes structure into augmented reality, offering a unique and interactive 3D spatial navigation experience—transcending traditional sound design. In order to setup the PolyNodes AVP with the desktop PolyNodes app; set the network IP address of your AppleVisionPro on the OSC panel / remote IP field of the PolyNodes desktop app. And then, set your computers ( running the PolyNodes app ) IP address on the IP filed of the PolyNodes APP application. Both apps will exchange network messages.
